eating like an Angel - day three

the best part about eating the Angel Way is that after a few days, you really don't want to eat any other way. at least that's been my experience, and laura's experience, and a whole host of other people who've tried this approach and liked it.

it's so simple, ruth said.

that's one of the other Best Parts.

so just for the record... (and it's only noon)

i've had -

bkfst - one smoothie with blackberry yogurt, frozen raspberries, lo fat milk and chocolate paleomeal, coffee with cream

mid-morning snack - handful of almonds, handful of cranberries and a cup of coffee with cream

noon - oatstraw and mugwort infusion, handful of almonds.

i've also walked four laps up and down the driveway today. yesterday, i walked two miles - it seems the only form of exercise of my right elbow and shoulder will allow.

this afternoon im meeting laura at passiflora. there'll be steak and more sauteed veggies for supper. i'm certain today will be another two-rainbow day!

Just something about your posts are so .... serene. =) I feel like I'm in a warmly painted room and that I'm settling in for time to slow down and just relax. Your food sounded rather good today as well (cept for the steak since I don't do meat BUT - the smoothie sounded incredible!)

aw, you are very kind! ty for stopping by! i added your blog to my list of places to go... i will be stopping in again to say hello :)! i don't think i will be eating steak for dinner either - i ended up eating turkey meatloaf at lunch (with ANOTHER smoothie - this one was almond milk, almond butter, bananas and vanilla paleomeal) and now im craving that grilled veggie dish i made the other night!

Oh now that IS delectable! We use almond or hemp milk in this house. I probably have the only child around here on hemp. Har har. Our butters currently include almond and cashew!!! The cashew is really good with rice noodles (the white ones!) And thank you for adding me to your journey! You are on my blogroll on my page. =) I am currently boiling a beet for tomorrow's use.

They certainly don't make it as easy to obtain. The almond milk around here is half the price of the hemp. I cheat and buy the chocolate flavor!

OT-I tried to visit your new blog, but couldn't get past a "content warning" page despite clicking the accept button. Any ideas or help?

Congrats on your healthier eating plan. Maybe I should try it too..

I wanted to let you know that your eating a rainbow plan has helped our family. My youngest son and my niece are on board now, after getting through the Skittles jokes. OK, they still start with the Skittles joke. Then they will think very hard and tell me what rainbow they ate and are planning to eat. It is helping them be more aware of food, and as you say, it's simple. It's also fun.

So when are you writing the "Rainbow Eating the Angel Way" book? I think it could be a big selller. We'll see you on Oprah!

Should do well with the Christian crowd (though you may have to downplay the Witch thing!)
